    Two UK supermarkets are trialling facial recognition technology which would automatically check whether people are old enough to buy alcohol and other restricted items.
    Currently people buying alcohol at self-checkout tills need to wait for an assistant to check their ID, which slows down queues.
    Privacy campaigners said people should be worried by the use of biometrics in their day-to-day lives.
    The pilot involves British startup Yoti, whose app verifies your identity through a selfie.
