Fortnite is a graphics-intensive game that demands a powerful phone, and the Galaxy Note 8 is your best option.
    Our Pick
    Samsung Galaxy Note 8
    $750 at Amazon
    $699 at Samsung
    Best phone for Fortnite.
The Galaxy Note 8 may soon be usurped by the Note 9, but until the sequel hits shelves the Note 8 is tops for Fortnite gamers. It's got the most RAM out of the Samsung devices, which may just give you a performance advantage over your opponents, and the big display and battery mean you can see more and play longer. At $699, it's also your best value for a phone of this quality.

Beat by the older sibling: people would rather buy the Galaxy Note 8 over the Note 9

Samsung wasted no time and slashed the price of the Galaxy Note 8 almost immediately after the Note 9's unveiling. You can now get last year's model for either $550, if you go with T-Mobile, or $600 if you opt for the Verizon version. In contrast, the brand-new Galaxy Note 9 starts off at $999.
That's definitely a price difference to consider, especially when you have to really squint in order to tell the Note 9 apart from the Note 8! For almost twice the price, the Galaxy Note 9 has a new Bluetooth-enabled S Pen, loud stereo speakers with the "Tuned by AKG" logo, a slightly upgraded ...

28 days ago - By Android Headlines

T-Mobile has put out security updates for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 families, as well as the Galaxy Note 8. The productivity-focused phablet is getting bumped up to the August security bulletin along with its newer Galaxy S9 siblings, while the year-old Galaxy S8 flagship family is getting the July security bulletin. As a bonus, the Galaxy Note 8 is getting what's called a “Samsung VOC fix”, though it's a bit of a mystery as to what that may be. It isn't found on any other phones' update pages for this round of patches.

Galaxy Note 9: Why do you want a phone with a stylus in 2018?

28 days ago - By Android Central

The stylus has come full circle and the Note 9 proves it still makes a mobile device better for having one.
The Galaxy Note isn't the first time we've seen how useful a stylus can be. There was a time when the best mobile devices all had a stylus. Whether you're talking Palm's Grafitti handwriting recognition software or the absolute marvel that was WinPad on early Windows mobile devices (seriously, it was awesome and ahead of its time) the stylus made an impact in how you used your mobile and what it could do.
The stylus faded from memory as other features like scroll wheels and...

  • The best Note 8 deal comes courtesy of T-Mobile and Samsung

The best Note 8 deal comes courtesy of T-Mobile and Samsung

With a few days before the general Note 9 release, and with the first of its pre-orders already getting out of the warehouse, Samsung and T-Mobile just slashed the price of its predecessor to the lowest we've seen for buying outright. How do $550 for one of the best flagships of last summer sound like?
Pretty good, we'd wager to guess, and that's exactly how much it will cost you to snatch a gray Note 8 directly from Samsung or from a T-Mobile store if you have one around. That's just $22.92 a month for 24 months, or you can slash the price even further with an eligible ...
