  • Millarworld's ‘Jupiter's Legacy' Premieres on Netflix in May

    Netflix has a new live-action superhero series on the way with a high profile creator behind it.
    Jupiter's Legacy, based on the graphic novels of the same name by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, will premiere all 8 episodes of its first season May 7th, 2021 on Netflix. It is “an epic superhero drama that spans decades and navigates the complex dynamics of family, power, and loyalty.”
    Millar, founder of Millarworld, is best known for Kick-Ass and Kingsman though his comics portfolio runs much deeper.

    Netflix is currently creating a live-action re-imagining of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Fans have overall been excited for this project although the level of excitement seemed to drop considerably when the creators of the original show, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko , left the project. However, it is still in the pipeline at Netflix and a new report that I am going to list as a rumor comes from The Illuminerdi that a new showrunner has been found.
