He told Jimmy Kimmel straight-up that he's not going to appear in the series, at least probably not. "No. I don't think so," he said when asked. "I haven't been approached." He went on to joke that Disney hasn't offered him enough cash for the job. Neeson played the Jedi Master and mentor of McGregor's Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn, in The Phantom Menace. He was killed by Darth Maul, but death isn't always permanent in the Star Wars universe.
