    I spoke with Cyberpunk 2020 creator Mike Pondsmith at E3, who told me that CD Projekt Red definitely wasn't the first video game company to try and license Cyberpunk from him.
    “Since the day I did Cyberpunk, we've had people option it for video games.” Pondsmith said with a laugh. “I think we were up to six or seven, including a lot of fairly big titled names.” Pondsmith wouldn't elaborate on who those companies were, but did explain why they ultimately went with CDPR.

  • Super Mario Party Will Feature Online Play and Leaderboards

    Super Mario Party will offer online play.
    Revealed during Nintendo Treehouse Live at E3, the mode is called Online Mario-thon and features five different ever-changing mini-games. You can play against friends or people all over the world.
    On top of that, Super Mario Party will have online leaderboards as well as some rewards, though Nintendo wouldn't go into specifics regarding the latter. More information should be on the way soon.
    It's important to note that Super Mario Party will most likely be part of the paid service Nintendo Switch Online .

    E3 2018 has brought great news for Nintendo Switch owners. For those who like their fighting on the go, another major fighting game is joining the platform. A brief announcement during Nintendo's E3 presentation revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ is indeed coming to their newest console.
    GameSpot captured a match from an undocked Switch. The gameplay looks smooth, and there doesn't appear to be much of a difference from other platforms.
    For comparison, GameXplain also captured a live set from the E3 2018 floor, but this one is in docked mode. It seems there are no performance hiccups...
